November '08 (six months old)

Twins are 6 months old! Playing in the cardboard box is one of their favorite pastimes.

Kaia said her first word, "Dada." Braeden repeated the phrase a few days later and now it is their favorite thing to say.

Here are some pics of their first Halloween. Kaia was dressed as a pea pod and Braeden was a tiger.

October '08

In October the family made the move to Wyoming where Brad began working in-town for NOLS and Kristen is at home with the twins.

The Wind River Mountains just outside of town already have snow and the family has gotten out for a few day hikes. The twins miss the Pacific Northwest, but are adjusting to the altitude and dry air of Wyoming.

September (5 months old)

Twins are going on 5 months old. Still not sleeping through the night, but are becoming more and more aware of each other and their their surroundings. Grandma/pa Judy and Dave have been a huge help during parents' transition back to work.

August (3 months old)

The twins are getting more active this month. They are mimicking sounds and parts of words now. They also are sitting up and looking around much more.

Kaia actually slept for over four hours one night which was a welcomed break for the parents.

Twins at the coast

Kristen, Brad, Kaia and Braeden spent five days on the Oregon coast in June. We hiked out to the point on Cape Lookout which was five miles round trip and took most of the day with the twins. We also spent the evenings in grandma's RV and Kristen and Brad got to do some surfing.

The twins are twelve pounds now and are growing super fast. Parents still exhausted by night feedings.

One month old!

Twins are now one month old. Here are some pictures of their first hike. They went six miles up Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge. They saw eagles, waterfalls and had a blast.
